It's more than just the name of this webpage. Home is what you'll feel when you meet with the precious people of Harlandale Christian Church. Together we're learning more about Jesus Christ and how He helps us to live like God has always indended for us to live. Because of our love of Jesus and our love for each other we've become a close-knit family of supportive believers. We help each other and have fun together and worship God together. We laugh and cry and work and play and truly enjoy each other like the family that we are.

If that's the sort of family you'd like to experience, why don't you participate in one of our friendly gatherings? Right away you'll notice that we're not so big that you get lost in a crowd, but not so small that you feel like you're intruding. We're not flashy or fancy or overly formal, but we strive to do our best with the talents and resources that God has given us. Together we worship and serve God our Father with the love and strength and power He has given us through His Son, Jesus Christ.

Won't you come by and experience our family? We'll be glad to see you and to welcome you home to Harlandale Christian Church. It's where you belong.

Save the Date

75 Years of Service to the King —  August 9, 2017, marked the seventy-fifth anniversary of Harlandale Christian Church's service to the Lord in the Harlandale community. On Sunday, October 29, 2017, we're planning a special day to commemorate our anniversary and celebrate what God has done and continues to do since the founding of our congregation. In the morning Philip Walton (whose grandfather was instrumental in helping establish HCC) will preach in reverent reflection of what God has accomplished in the past as witness to how God will continue to use those who remain faithful to His call. In the afternoon a student from Dallas Christian College will come to offer enthusiastic exhortation and encouragement for our unceasing future service to Jesus Christ in the advancement of His Kingdom. Throughout the day students and staff from Dallas Christian College will lead us in worship with music and song. We're also planning an outdoor picnic with sandwiches and such that our families will bring to share (and the cookies that some of our ladies are preparing to bake!), and our Youth Group will be conducting various outdoor activities and games. Make plans now to attend and invite as many people as possible to participate in this time of jubilant adoration, celebration, reflection, encouragement and plenty of fun, fellowship and food! Please mark this date on your calendar, spread the word, and keep this event and the planning committee in your prayers!
